Dear House of Prayer family:
In light of the recent loosening of the restrictions and regulations related to COVID-19 by our Governor, our leadership has decided we would like to move forward with a game-plan and a timeline for beginning to meet, gather, and fellowship in person!
While we are very excited to open the doors again, there are precautions we will need to implement and we have been encouraged by our district office to not proceed too hastily in our re-engaging strategies.
We know there are a lot of different perspectives out there about what an appropriate response should be to this pandemic, so we want to make it clear that our primary objective is not to cater to any particular belief, political viewpoint, or even any governmental mandate, but rather to honor the Lord and serve Him to the best of our ability.
We have already met once and are meeting again shortly to finalize our policy and guidelines for re-opening the use of our facilities and grounds. So please pray for us, that we will make decisions that are wise and Spirit-led, that will be safe, and in everyone’s best interest. And if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to bring them to our attention.
While the guidelines currently from the state of Minnesota are pretty clear about religious group gatherings, and we do want to comply with them, we also want to encourage small groups to be meeting off-campus, at people's homes. Be mindful that the current guidelines stipulate that these gatherings should be of 10 people or less.
So with all of that said, we mainly want to say, we love you guys, and we miss you! Please know that we want to have our guidelines in place as expeditiously as possible, so please be patient with us as we work through this.
In the meantime, keep loving each other and keep your eyes on Jesus! We will be in touch soon with more specifics and details.
God bless you today and always!
