New City Catechism

Join us with our Winter Study '23.  This will be one way we go through our rhythm* of systematic theology as a church.

Hello Friends,

By studying Christian theology, we accomplish several things.

First, we give our hearts compelling information to fuel our worship of the living God.

Second, we honor the faithful work of the Holy Spirit, who has revealed these doctrines in the scriptures and in the faithful presence of the historic Church through the ages.

Three, we train ourselves to walk in obedience to God's word, as revealed by the Holy Spirit in the Church through the ages.

As we find written in Jude: "I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God's holy people" (1:3).

In an age when theological innovations are abounding and many are making up their beliefs out of varied strands collected via internet "research," it is crucially important to content for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God's holy people.

I am with you for the historic, saving faith that is founded upon Christ Jesus and the Apostles.

Lovingly,

Pastor Mike
